Saving time with technology –
KIPS enhances quality and efficiency with Lumoview

Outdated floor plans and incomplete documentation — that’s how many projects at KIPS GmbH used to begin. These challenges often required time-consuming, manual building measurements. To overcome this, KIPS now captures building data digitally and centrally using Lumoview.
The increased volume and quality of data, combined with centralized access, streamline interface management, simplify building condition assessments, and significantly boost overall project efficiency. The collaboration with Lumoview also opens up new opportunities for KIPS to expand its service portfolio and unlock additional potential.

30,000 m² in 11 days

As part of the project, a total of 30,000 m² across multiple buildings — including highly complex structures like churches — were captured within just 11 days using the LumoScanner.

From 15h to 5h

On-site, there’s no longer a need for time-consuming checks of structural changes or reviewing outdated plans in advance. This new approach is estimated to reduce effort by up to two-thirds.

"From the very beginning, our collaboration with Lumoview was solution-oriented. Instead of focusing on obstacles, we looked for ways forward together. The partnership has helped us grow and make significant progress in a short amount of time — it's a cooperation that empowers and moves us forward."

Projektprogress with Lumoview

Through the collaboration with Lumoview, time-consuming and manual measurements with pen and paper are now a thing of the past at KIPS. All relevant data can now be digitally captured and centrally stored, significantly improving both the quality and efficiency of the building assessment process.

Step 1

Scanning
30,000 m² in 11 days

Thanks to the intuitive handling of the LumoScanner, building measurements at KIPS is now effortless and efficient – without the need for time-consuming manual work.

Step 2

Data processing

AI-powered processing of building data into simplified 3D CAD models in the native RVT format or exportable as IFC.

Step 3

Data usage
in Revit

KIPS leverages centralized access through LumoWorld for efficient building data management without relying on local storage. Models integrate smoothly with Revit, while component and area lists can be directly exported to Excel.
